MEC has designed, developed and built consumer direct lending sites for one of the top five financial institutions in the world. These sites focus on automating the Mortgage Application and backend processing services for mortgage lending.

The financial institution has incorporated these websites as part of their corporate presence on the web. The site includes online loan applications, loan finders, several mortgage calculators and pre-qualification tools. These applications are highly flexible, secure and personalized in nature. The systems involved building machine to machine interactions using XML by exchanging safe XML documents. XML documents were generated dynamically and posted to remote machine using safe transfer protocols and digital certificates. Also, these transfers were logged in an audit trail for subsequent retransmission in the event of database or network failure.

MEC developed Executive Dashboard application to review and analyze corporate data for Eastman Chemical Company. The application is used by executive management and financial analysts to discover and analyze data spanning Financial, Economic and Customer satisfaction to make critical business decisions. Given the user community, the application had to be very intuitive (zero training), enable fast data access and provide simple and consolidated summary reports with charts and graphs.

The application leverages a Web Services back end with a X-Internet front end. An intuitive UI increased the executive productivity. Also the application drastically reduced the maintenance cost as modifying the backend would automatically update the front end without any code or configuration change.

Sales support at a leading Petrochemical Company are usually done by Customer Sales Agents (CSA) located all over the country. A certain amount of stock was transferred from the company to the CSA where an Excise Invoice and a Billing Document were generated by the SAP system. CSAs in turn sell the goods to end customers through Delivery Order and Delivery Note generation. A Billing Document is finally generated and posted to the system. CSA stock point sales were notified to the regional offices through paper documents and the relevant data are manually updated into the SAP system. This resulted in a time lag for updating the CSA stock in the SAP system.

MEC was assigned the task of making this process completely online. The newly developed system enabled the CSA to directly login, create Sales Order, Delivery Note, Post Goods Issue (PGI) and Billing Document through an internet browser. The release to Accounting was verified so that the Regional Offices can validate and post the information in SAP system.
